Project Overview
Background
V-TRANSFRM stands for Valley Transport Resiliency Advancement for Neighborhoods Sustainable Freight Movement Study. V-TRANSFRM studies the way freight movement travels through the San Joaquin valley and affects the local communities. This study assesses roads affected by climate change and will fix any weaknesses. This study is creating a plan that makes communities safer and allows freight to keep traveling safely while using available funding. This initiative is led by the Tulare County Association of Governments (TCAG).
Engagement
V-TRANSFRM wants to hear from people in the community. We want your feedback about climate problems that affect how trucks move goods through your community. We want to engage with Kern, Tulare, Kings, Fresno, Madera, Merced, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin counties. Attend a community workshop in your county to provide feedback about goods and movement in your community. Or take our survey now to share your thoughts and suggestions.
